MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO
Hana Dhanji is the Founder & CEO of Cognitrex, a unified LMS and CMS platform designed to help large enterprises deliver learning at scale across sales enablement, customer experience, onboarding, compliance, safety, and professional development.
Before founding Cognitrex, Hana built a multidisciplinary career across corporate law and executive coaching, advising global organizations and developing high-performance training programs for leaders, associates, and frontline teams. She is New York Bar-qualified and holds a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto and Rotman School of Management, as well as a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland.
Her transition into enterprise training and capability-building came after coaching hundreds of lawyers and corporate leaders, where she first saw the structural gaps that Cognitrex is now solving at scale.
Prior to founding Cognitrex, Hana trained and practiced as a corporate lawyer with leading international firms. She worked in capital markets and corporate transactions with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York and London, advising on high-yield bond offerings and cross-border securities matters. She later practiced with Hogan Lovells LLP in Dubai, focusing on corporate transactions, employment and labor matters, and complex commercial arrangements across the Middle East.
Alongside her legal career, Hana worked extensively with organizations on leadership development, professional training, and workforce capability-building across multiple jurisdictions and functions. Through this work, she repeatedly encountered the same structural challenge: enterprise learning was fragmented across systems, content repositories, and teams, making it difficult to scale training consistently or adapt quickly as organizational needs evolved.
Cognitrex was founded to address this gap by unifying learning delivery and content management into a single, enterprise-ready platform built for scale, clarity, and operational use.
Today, Hana works with organizations across financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, professional services, and large industrial sectors.
